Kid Kraddick Pensacola???

Where is he from? I thought he was local at Mix 103.1 (Destin) until I heard him on 107.9 PFM (on skip)

I take it you can't get 103.1 there too well?

Alright, im in Mobile/Pensacola right now, and was listening to Q100.7 on the radio and they had an ad about Kraddick coming on July 9th! It's official and clear the Kidd Kraddick will take the morning shift on Q100 on july 9th.
 
He started this past Monday, July 9th on WJLQ out of Pensacola Mobile market. They finally fired the PD, who was the Programmer too. Smart move, that guy John Stuart sucked. I thought I would not like Kraddick, but he really is good. The entire market has syndication now, with the exception of Country radio. They seemed to have blown out the whole staff with the exception of Lu Valentino. Don't hear her on PM drive though, heard her on during and after Kidd. She was the only big market name there. Is she recorded from outside another city and not here? Her picture is up right now during her show on the stations website www.q100gulfcoast.com

I thought I would add my 2 cents here. Dave (Kidd) Kraddick is based out of Dallas and I've been listening to him for over 20 years. I used to live in Dallas and remember when he did evenings at 97.1 KEGL. He moved to the morning show on KEGL and his show was called "The Kraddick & Company Morning Show". After moving to Panama City, I used to love to go back to Dallas and listen to him. In fact, I used to buy a bunch of blank tapes and tape his show. I still have a bunch of tapes from the late 80's / early 90's when he was still at KEGL. He moved over to 106.1 Kiss FM (KHKS) around 1993 (I think) after KEGL went from top 40 to more mainstream rock, and that's where he has been ever since. Kiss FM started broadcasting on the net in the late 90's and I was happy to be able to hear him again. He has a great show, although I do have to say I liked hearing him "local" in Dallas rather than syndicated. But nevertheless, it is good to hear him on the air. I think he's only been syndicated for about 3 or 4 years (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that). First time I heard him syndicated was in 2003 when I took a trip to Panama City and heard him on Hot 107.9 (now PFM). I about drove off the road...couldn't believe I was actually hearing a DJ I listened to as a child actually on the PC airwaves.

In Dallas, on Kiss FM, he is still local. Apparently he does two feeds...one syndicated and one local for the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
