Kidd Chris - my 6 minute review...

I typed in a word document while listening...here are my thoughts:

6:16 Bush

Used the word “killer” to describe Bush's music.
Awkwardly reading liner about his Freak Fest Halloween event.
Too many voices going on at once.
Introduces Brad the Cripple…not terrible…you can sense that Chris is more comfortable “free stylin” rather than "reading".

Playing the Brad the Cripple interview with the tallest women…f-ing funny…laughing out loud with the “have terrorist tried to fly a plane into you?” question. Interview is now getting stupid. Now the tallest women is funnier than Brad the Cripple…interview thankfully ends. Has a bad college radio vibe going on. Too much Brad the Cripple.

Chris comes back in with an attempt at "energy" before the song.

Well, I think I got a fair sample of the Kidd Chris show...he doesn't suck, maybe a discounted version of O&A meets music...certainly not a morning show. I will attempt to tune in when in the car and having enough of Eskin and being stuck in an area where I can't get 660WFAN.

You did make me laugh out loud...see I like that "blue" humor that the robots here frown upon...godforfrigginbid anyone in radio makes an attempt at being funny...must press buttons...must hit post on highly tested song...must read liner...must press buttons...must hit post on highly tested song...must read liner...

Hmm... Brad. The "Tallest Woman" became funnier than you then he was THANKFUL that the interview ended. Then said too much Brad The Cripple... Yea he really LOVED it. I "bash" Kidd cause he comes on here and lowers himself to the level of the rest of us radio geeks, when DJs should be above it or at least incognito. I don't live in the market so I don't listen to him. Nor would I. When something has a "bad college radio vibe" I'd rather listen to bad college radio.

I'm not a robot I love to hear good radio and it doesnt need to be ya know the same dreck as Wex is preaching about, but I'd prefer a jock who wouldnt insult me on a message board for people who like and work in the industry. So sorry me for expecting better than BAD COLLEGE RADIO in market #6. I guess if that is what is passing for radio I could prolly land a show on MMR. Get those tapes of me on good ole WEXP fired up I'm comin home Philly.

Chris comes in...ticket give away...Audio Slave...mentions Freak Fest...gay naked double dutch...everyone in studio laughs at "gay".

Non-Jewish Phil...out of towner...again, a lot of voices going on at once. Mentions Howard Stern. Playing Rock Hard Killer - "Maniac" made me laugh out loud - now "Frosty the Snowman" version...not funny...Chris likes it..."I'll cut your face off"...getting stupid now. Someone else is talking...playing more Rock Hard Killer..."Earth Angel" is funny...Chris thanks everyone for tuning in...takes some calls...Crazy Carl...they hang up on him. Cable Guy...**** 100? We are gay? Dildo jousting as a game for Audio Slave tickets. Teases Norm MacDonald interview coming up.

Well, what have we learned? It seems to me that Chris relies on his callers and in-studio guys as filler/content...which is fine. I did laugh out loud at the Rock Hard Killer song, so in that Chris is two for two for making me laugh out loud in each of the 6 minute periods I have listened. Show feels like it should be on after 7pm though to compete with Wired, The Beat, Power and Q.

keep in mind that the show is in it's second week...it's all a matter of time...glad you enjoy the show
