Kidd Chris Returning In Afternoon Drive?

Tonight on his Facebook page, Kidd Chris hyped the launch of a revamped website effective April 1.

The message includes this sentence: "I hope you're afternoons are free! :)"

Is he surfacing here, or somewhere else, in PM drive? Is this planned relaunch coinciding with a new gig? Or is he, well, just fooling us?
 
If anything he's back on the air in San Antonio.

Funny thing. And I don't think it's been discussed here. CBS let Kidd Chris build WYSP around his (doomed) morning show. He got the PD Gil Edwards fired. New PD John Cooke hired. Kidd brought in Spike. Spike brought the night guy. And Cooke hired the Afternoon [EDIT] Matt and Huggy got fired. Scotty and Mark got fired. Old Time radio midday show and the [EDIT] got fired (but Metro didn't?). Kidd shed his long time producer Monkey Boy and hired a listener to replace him. A LISTENER!!! Stern hired listeners but he didn't replace professionals to do it!

AND IT ALL LASTED 2 MONTHS!!! And everything except for Kidd and Cooke are still in place? Why is that?

And now we have Danny Bonaduce?

I always wondered if Bellevue allowed the patients computer access, the above quote answered that question.
 
Chris is apparently starting up an internet broadcast. Check out his twitter for past updates, including talking about getting equipment, as well as announcing that he acquired a new phone # for the upcoming production.

He has been talking about this for a while and the date of 5/18 has been brought up. His site has been pretty dormant for a while and the first of a month seems like a reasonable time for a relaunch if there were to be one. it just so happens that next moth is April.
 
Ham radio knows where Kidd is goin next there connected to him I been told .Dj any comment ?

The show officially kicked off a week past its target date, this past Tuesday. The show will air afternoons at 3 PM. More from the Daily News:

his peak was about 500 simultaneous listeners on the first day, which i think is good considering it's an internet only show and its on at 3pm when alot of people are at work. Thats probably more than bonaduce gets.
