Kidd Kraddick dies

It's on the DFW board and I Heart Radio's Facebook page has confirmed Kidd's passing. This is terrible news to hear. The question in the near future is what happens to KHKS' morning show, and what will his affiliates do now?

As was expressed on the Dallas board, the real question is what will his family, his charities and his many friends do now that he is no longer among them.

My heart goes out to all those people. Life may go on, but he will be missed on many levels.
 
It'll be interesting to see what will happen on July 29, 2013 when his members and staff on his morning program return to find a missing voice not there to guide them through the 4 hours.

As for the affiliates, given that a majority of these outlets are owned by either Clear Channel or Cumulus, one can bet they will immediately find replacements from their co-owned subsidiaries.
