My girlfriend told me that he heard that Kidd Kraddick has been dropped by 102.5 the Party. Anyone know what happened? He had a nice billboard push in Nashville from Cromwell.

The Party is taking a more urban approach. They're now bringing in "club DJs" (you know they are because their air names all start with "DJ") to keep the party goin', yo.

Maybe they're bringing back Bob & Sheri? ;D
Let's hope not. They've been tried twice (in Nashville) and failed twice. I'd rather have V-102.5 back. (Yeah, I know, that isn't going to happen, either. ::)) I took them out of my presets after their switch, and haven't listened to them since. ::)

I didn't say "real Urban" or even "Urban" with a capital U. I said more urban...

How many Urban stations does Nashville have? Three.

How many Country stations does Nashville have? Three.

How many Rock stations does Nashville have? Three.

How many A/C stations does Nashville have? ONE!

How many brain cells does it take to figure out where the biggest hole is?
(The world may never know...)

Don't think of 102.5 as a Nashville station. It doesn't completely cover the entire Nashville market area that well.

102.5 covers and rates much higher in the Clarksville-Hopkinsville market. It will always gear its format first toward whatever fits in that market, with Nashville second.
