KIGS Question

Anyone remember why 620's call letters were changed from KNGS to KIGS? Did 107.5 change to KNGS and then change ownership?
Or was the callsign changed to something else (KCLQ?), with KNGS reassigned before 620 could reacquire it?
I left the valley before this happened, and I'm curious.

KNGS 100.1 Coalinga for a short period of time about a decade ago carried KZPO's programming as Kings Radio, don't know what happened there, at the same time 94.7 KYAF was also simulcasting their signal, 1999,2000, somewhere and there.
