I always get lulled into inattention when anchors or reporters take maternity leave. Turns out Kiley resigned after her maternity leave according to a post on the station's official Facebook page dated March 26...she'll definitely be missed!
A new wrinkle in Bennett's sudden departure from WGME; according to TVSpy Kiley had four months left on her contract with the station. Now WGME's parent company is apparently taking Bennett to court. Stay classy, Sinclair!
In the latest chapter in the soap opera "As the Anchorette Turns," Kiley has returned to the station and to the website bio page. Given her distinct lack of on-air enthusiasm, I presume she's just serving out her legal obligation to Sinclair.
At long last Kiley bid farewell to viewers at the end of yesterday's 5:30PM newscast, apparently having served out the remainder of her contract. Enjoy your freedom, Kiley!
