Killing Off Your Audience One By One

Are there any people in management at XM who have any viable radio experience? Or, are these positions filled by people who's only track record is college radio? Anybody there ever hear of the term "listener fatigue"? Nope!

1. Same promo's running over and over and over in the exact same positions, some for well over a year now!

2. These STUPID spots with endless repetition of the phone number or web site?
Hey XM, its your operation, take charge and set standards and advise the advertiser you will abide by them or else. These spots are most likely these schlock operation PI deals (per inquiry) that never do any good. Kind of like the old Roberts Advertising safety packages, remember them? Oh I get it, they don't teach that in college radio class!

Sadly it is NOT XM's anymore,its SIRIUS's which is why its mostly garbage now...

Low TSL = High repetition
 
With nearly 500k more subs this pass quarter making the total subs just shy of 20 mil, Sirius is kicking butt. Why someone would have a service they hate is beyond me. If you hate XM, get rid of it. No loss to you or XM.

I seriously doubt that anyone who hates XM would take the time to post here. I signed up for XM in October and have watched it get worse and worse since Sirius took over, if this continues I will get rid of it after my year is up. Maybe they won't miss one customer but if a lot of people feel like me they will feel a loss. In fact they are borrowing HD lingo which is as we all know one of the biggest bombs of this century so far. I do not consider having to pay for a formerly free service to be "upgrading". What are we getting for this new charge, maybe a little better than 31 KB/sec sound? This can perhaps be gotten away with in a car when you are flying down the road at 80 mph depending on the type of music you're listening to, but at home? Nope, sounds like krap.
 
Nope, more like 128k. Far better than you could hear with most all internet services. If you have a good sound system hook up on your computer, the difference is more than a bit.

I have a very good stereo hooked to my computer, if it goes to 128k it will make a huge difference.
