KILT power question

KILT seems to be one of not as strong channels as the others. A lot of the time KCYY comes in and out, to where most of the other stations I can get HD or RDS.

I can pick up KILT in Victoria. Signal is spotty, but I can pick it up.

It battles 100.3 of SA (Y100?) as far west as Nixon.

Hard to believe but yeah Y100, even my car has problems.
Use to not be that way.

No issues with their HD signal here in Montgomery County. I am regularly tuned into KILT-HD3 in my truck, and on a hilariously crappy Insignia radio at my office, and haven't had an issue with the signal dropping. The Clear Channel FMs have issues up here with HD signal reliability, though.

In the local I can see no problems for very few, but out in the fringe it is.

Speaking of HD, have any iHeart stations shut off their HD signals? Looks like they are rolling back on non-essential HD channels in New York and San Francisco. My guess is markets like Dallas and Houston are next.

Here is what I find on the Houston iHeart FMs:

KQBT 93.7:
HD2 is Pride Radio, targeting the LGBTQIA community
HD3 is the origination for "La Caliente" which is broadcast by translators on 98.7, 102.5 and 105.3
HD4 is the origination for "IHope Radio" which is on the 104.5 translator

KTBZ 94.5:
HD2 is a simulcast of KBME 790
HD3 is a simulcast of KPRC 950
HD4 is also a simulcast of KPRC 950, but a couple of seconds behind the HD3 (I assume one of these is a placeholder for a future format)

KODA 99.1
HD2 is a simulcast of KTRH 740
HD3 is the origination of Radio Dabang which runs on the 99.5 translator
HD4 is the origination of Radio Luz which runs on the 94.1 translator

So all the HDs except Pride Radio are AM simulcasts or translator originations. Somehow I don't see the paying customers going away, though dropping the AM simulcasts would not surprise me. Pride Radio is an iHeart initiative so I don't see that going away either.
