I did not have a chance to watch Kim's show on Monday morning. Does anyone know if she appeared on air and had any comment about the shoplifting allegations?

I would imagine that she is on a LOA pending the resolution of her legal troubles. In short, she has probably worked her last day at 3TV.

Monday had Lisa Haefner (Mrs. Bruce in Newschopper 3) hosting with their fashion expert (and I use the term expert loosly) Kathleen. Tuesday was former 3-TV anchor/reporter Beth Perry with KTAR's Gayle Bass. Lisa just welcomed the viewers to YLA2Z, Beth said the she was filling in for Kim who is off today.
Nothing else mentioned about Kim. Her bio is still on the azfamily.com website and the YLA2Z section still shows her as the host. At this point, since I know of no formal charges being filed against Kim, I doubt the station can do anything with her employment except put her on leave since she has not been found guilty of anything but the embarassment of the situation.

Your Life A to Z Hosts
As a followup to my last post, it appears that KTVK is using Lisa Haffner one or two days a week and Beth Perry for the rest of the week. Lisa continues to say nothing about Kim; Beth introduces herself as "filling in for Kim who is off". No other mention about Kim Dillon has occurred. The KTVK site azfamily.com still shows Kim as the host of YLA2Z and her bio is still posted.

Then there was the cussing-out Gil Tyree got from Randy Johnson in 1999 when Tyree barged onto Unit's property for an "impromptu" interview.
Brad Perry had an on-air hissy fit recently as well. No legal trouble in either case, of course, but Perry should have kept his temper and Tyree shouldn't have tresspassed.
I thought Cameron Harper got into some kind of Emmy-related flap when he was at KNXV. How did he get in trouble at KTVK?

She was interviewed on KNXV a couple of minutes ago and their reporter announced that she had in fact been canned by KTVK.
No charges have been filed as yet, but the Maricopa County Attorney's office says the case is "under review."

Kim Dillon read from a prepared statement to the media this afternoon (I know if was aired on ABC-15, CBS-5 and 3-TV, but did not get a chance to see the other locals). In the statement, she said she took responsibility for her actions and would never knowingly take merchandise without paying for it. Kim apologized to the public, the community and Dillards (though no mention of KTVK). She did say that she no longer workes for KTVK (resigned or terminated not stated; her bio no longer on AZFamily.com). KTVK management declined to respond to questions from the media.
As Keith mentioned, the County Attorney is reviewing the case and will decided whether to file criminal charges against her in the next two weeks.
