Yes, If you go to their site here: http://www.wlqt.com, you will notice on the intro page that it says, "The rumors are true, SHE is coming to Q99". This is certanily good news for all Kim fans out there and thanks for sharing.
 
That is great news! Kim is a super nice person-and a legend and Dayton Broadcasters' Hall of Fame member to boot. Good luck, Kimmie-Glad to hear you're coming back to the airwaves of Dayton. All is well in the Dayton radio world. 8)
 
I wonder what the does to the line up on LITE.

My guess is that Brian Michaels will move to middays, and Sandy Collins will leave the airwaves for good.

LITE has been chomping at the bit for AGES, to get Kim Faris. I understand why Z dropped her from their line up, but Kim is way too talented to not be on air.

Still, I miss Paul Ellis. Easily the nicest guy ever!

Just checked it out from your link and it said LITE 99.9.
On a similar topic, maybe CC put the cart in front of the horse as far as dropping the "LITE" name...New York's 106.7 LITE-FM is now just New York's 106.7, so maybe LITE will morph into Q99? Who knows? ???
 
Does that mean kim was forced into sales at z93? They made it sound like she was done with being on the air.
 
Like when Steve Kerrigan went into sales after TUE picked up Bob and Tom?

Fat chance. They canned Kim's show. She had outgrown her place in that format. They just made it sound sweet and pretty, while Kim waited for the right job to open up.
 
Sorry, it was Kim's idea to give sales a try. Went reasonably well, but when Lite 99 came calling, she decided she'd rather get back on-air. She'll make a marvelous addition there. Can't wait to hear her when the alarm sounds early in the morning!
