Kim Fitz out at Kiss 102.7

Kim Fitz has left Kiss 102.7 in Carrollton where she was morning show host to take a full-time gig with Citadel on Kicks 101.5. Kim has been doing fill in and weekend work on Kicks for some time, but she will now be full time and will produce the afternoon drive show with Bill Celler in addition to her fill in and weekend work. Kim is a talented broadcaster with a bright future. Carrollton continues to incubate talent for the Atlanta market. Sari Rose also came to Kicks from Kiss.

James Bierley has now taken over as morning show host at Kiss 102.7. James is a great guy and will do a nice job in Carrollton. In addition to the morning show on Kiss, James will continue to do afternoons on WKNG AM 1060 through February.

Speaking of former radio hosts on Kiss: what happened to (and where is) Jack Douglas now?

Also I haven;t heard Eric Jens do news in months but I still see him on a billboard. Did eric jens move or was he let go due to cut backs?

Eric Jens went to Rome (South 107 I think). Colin Worthington is now heading up news for the Gradick Communications cluster (B92.1, Kiss 102.7, WKNG AM 1060, WLBB, Rejoice 89.1). I haven't met Colin yet, but from all indications, he seems to be doing a nice job.

I'm not sure where Jack Douglas is or if he is even working in radio. I do know that he no longer works for Gradick Communications.

After posting , I researched and found Eric took a job in the Rome Stations. He used to drive from Rome to Carrollton Everyday...so he is close to home.

She started about a year ago, doing weekends and she filled in for Evelyn Kay while she was on maternity leave. I guess she felt that with her duties with Citadel that she didn't need the gig in Carlton anymore.

He has been doing the news updates during Moby's show. The previous news anchor in this spot was Doug Walker.
