Kim Quintero: Triple Threat

In a 3 hour span, Kim Quintero did 4:30AM weather, 6AM traffic and news/weather during the CBS This Morning bottom of the half hour local news breaks.

Kim has been increasingly picking up news anchor assignments. Makes her more valuable. And she does a great job.
 
On the December 26, 2020 edition of Good Morning Arizona, Kim Quintero opened the program by herself. Jamie Cerreta and Kylee Cruz were both off. Monica Garcia was supposed to co-host but said she didn't realize she was working GMAZ Saturday. Maria Hechanova rushed in to help. For the first 2 segments Kim hosted and did weather alone.
 
Kimmie and Maria are both favs of mine when it comes to TV personalities so I didn't mind this at all.

Monica did the 9 AM hour with Kim. She did a decent job and looks far more comfortable anchoring a morning show than she does doing weather. Being 6 months pregnant, I think she should be cut at least some slack for being late.
 
I agree that Monica does a decent job anchoring. I thought Monica would improve over time doing the weather, but really hasn't. Kim Powell (recently seen on Sunday evenings) is doing a better job with weather.
