Ok, I'll admit it - they've done some tweeking over there at 98.9 and I'm getting hooked. They've finally started mixing a lot of the classic rock I love with my closet favorites like George Michaels (insert joke here), Howard Jones and BeeGees without going too silly with the 99 Luft Balloon type songs or overdosing on Madonna & Michael Jackson. If they're not careful, they might actually create a good station to listen to all day rather than being my "hit scan during commercial".

Me, too. I've also heard Kim on a lot of car radios since it's top-down / open window weather now.

Now, if they could get some entertaining jocks. Bringing back Rich Brother Robbin comes to mind....IF The Cat had the mix Kim has with the air staff the HAD, they might still be around.

Thanks man, I do appreciate it. Lots of really talented people in that building that I'd work with again in a heartbeat. Houston is great, the Rockets are fantastic to work for, but I do miss Memphis and the people there. It's an interesting radio market here. Another topic for another time.......

I might just have to purchase a round of barley pops for whoever is game next time I'm in town.

Kim is indeed getting better, and its my first stop on the dial when I'm in Memphis.

Well, I'm sure that the grizz are missing my low post defense! ummm...errr....or not. I will say, that I would take up quite a bit of space in the lane.....horizontally, not vertically that is. And i got no hops. (unless it comes in a bottle and is fizzy)
