Kimberly Kelly is leaving WSPA-TV, according to a tipster. Prior to WSPA, Kelly spent several years on the Magic 98.9 morning show.

If this is true, it will be interesting to see where she goes. Or perhaps she will just continue with local ads.

She mentioned it on her Facebook page Sunday at the end of a tribute to her father. She said something basically about not being able to sign her new contract and put family first instead. She didn't say what contract she was referring to. She did say that she had a month left with WSPA.

contracts in broadcasting alway benefit the employer. i applaud her for taking time off and giving them a notice.

Yes, a Major Hoot. I know the complete outline...because I'm the one that set it up! My Radio Bud, the late Bill Walker, called ahead of time, reading a script that I had typed to their receptionist. Then, when I had them pull-up in a Limo, Bev Brandon fell for the whole thing...Hook, Line, Sinker, and Float. They never knew, until about 2-hours after they were gone.
