Probably not tonight. Friday shows are repeats, and tonight's show is the Tuesday return with all the Trump comments.
Sinclair is far more conservative that Nexstar is.
Sinclair doesn't have a major acquisition that needs to be approved by this administration

The show returns to Sinclair stations tonight. The Friday night show is usually a repeat, and tonight's show is the Tuesday night return show.

I said this after the CBS-FCC deal that included an independent ombudsman: NPR has had an independent ombudsman for as long as I can remember. It didn't stop any of the attacks that have happened in the last few years. The ombudsman addressed the complaints from Uri Berliner. That didn't stop the president from defunding CPB. So having an ombudsman doesn't mean a thing.
See, we know what your political bent is. You're going to make apologetic comments in support of Kirk to prove your point that Kimmel was in the wrong. Just as you tried in your attempts to prop up Dennis Prager and PragerU on the Cleveland board.

John's got the right to believe what he wants to believe. But so do the rest of us. Where he goes off the rails is in writing things that are blatantly inaccurate and thinking he's going to get away with it in a community of fact-based, information nerds who actually know (or know how to research) the accurate information. Very often what conservatives mistake for left-wing bias is really people correcting their biases with actual facts, information, history. If you (@johnbasalla) did your own research, you might realize how often what you think are facts are really MAGA disinformation or political spin from your side.

"Constructive approach" means they didn't go public, they didn't threaten (unlike the FCC), and they didn't take any punitive actions.
They instead worked quiet diplomacy, behind the scenes, and it got results. It's what you expect from a company like this.

While Nexstar and Sinclair may have failed in their overt objectives of humiliating ABC and getting Kimmel to apologize, they may well have succeeded in the covert objective of stifling pointed criticism of extreme-right political actors in the future.
They are also playing with fire in doing that.
Not really, since Kimmel and ABC had their biggest ratings in years Tuesday, and the Nexstar and Sinclair stations missed out on gaining viewers from them.

Mark, I think I agree with radiofan2023 on this one. This is humiliating for Sinclair (
ABC (eventually) did what it should have done over Stephanopoulos, and CBS should have done over "60 Minutes"---stood by its broadcast.
The government (in its current mutation) may well try to exact a pound of flesh, but, if they do, in the words of Brendan Carr, it'll be "the hard way".
I was bullied as a kid. It's why I don't like them now. Wanna know the day it stopped? The day I handed the person next to me my glasses and my house key. I went to take off my watch, with a metal wristband, paused, looked at it, looked at the bully, looked back at the wristband and then said.
