I must say, I don't believe the story at all. The spitting part is a convenient excuse for Peterson loosing his cool and attacking a protester. A lawsuit is coming and is well deserved. I feel sorry for the Kimmer and his temper problem.

Can anyone say PTSD? It's too bad that the Bush Administration has cut VA benefits; otherwise Kimberly could get help for his anger issues and his obvious Agent Orange related problems. Another issue with Agent Orange is that it makes you think that hack comedians who do poor imitations are funny. If the war protester had any brains he would have Kimberly arrested. I'm sure there are some inmates in the slammer who would be happy to see if the Prostate Cancer is back.
Rodney do you have anything besides Kimmy's word on this? Are there witnesses? Me thinks Kimmy may have made it up to sound tough. I mean the guy is pushing 60 and just got over cancer, how strong could he be? Colandro could probably take him. A quick check of wgst.com and kimmershow.com has nothing about Kim's heroic efforts beating up a bed-wetting liberal, anti-war protester. If it really happened you would think he would promote it on his website.

Veterans' consensus: Kimmer is a poser
Every war veteran I know says Kimmer is a complete "poser." The veterans who actually served in combat rarely brag, or even talk, about their war experiences.
On the other hand, if you get somebody who's constantly bragging about his military experience, and randomly says "Semper Fi", this is the sign of a person who spent the entire Vietnam War scrubbing toilets at an air base in Mobile, Alabama.
Like George W. Bush, Kimmer fabricates these war stories to cover up the fact that he was too much of a coward to serve in combat.

The guy is a WAR VET, plain and simple. And a Vietnam war vet at that. I don't know his military record, but I respect the guy for serving his Country. Like his show or not....show some respect! The guy that spat on him deserved to have his ass handed to him. And, for the record, I saw Kimmer's hand today... Bloody knuckles!

What a bunch a wimpy liberals on this board! Kimmer is a great guy and a combat vet. Plus he doesn't "brag" about his experience in Veitnam. Hell I listened to his show for 9 years a he hardly mentions about what happened there.

I know Kimmer was in the military during Viet Nam. I don't know if he saw any combat. The statement that "he was too much of a coward to serve in combat" is asinine. If he was in the service, he had no choice about combat or no combat.
What I have a problem with is his constant harping about the military. How long was he in, 3 years? I was in 7 yrs. and most of my friends don't even know I served. It was a past job and I've moved on. I wish Kimmer would do the same.

I think he was a little embarrased, but I think I would have done the same thing. The war is a total sham, but I blame our leader, not our troops. If someone is stupid enough to protest the troops on Veteran's Day when they don't choose their wars deserves what they get.

This country is in the shape its in, because of bush, but geez, its better than a democrat could have done. If John Kerry were in office, we would have our asses handed to us, not to mention, probably half the country would be blown to bits, because of his lack of attention to the fact that there are terroists, that want to take our freedoms.. it was vets eat for free, I was in tears, and Im a man, just at the sight
at all the vets who were there there some in full uniform, and it was awesome
