Been a member for a few years, only pop on to lurk every once in a blue moon.....does anyone ever have anything positive to say on these boards or is it always just trash talking? Just curious! :-\

Trash talking? What you see here sir is the informed repartee of some of the finest minds in the radio industry. Trash talking? I think not.
;)

Talking trash or debating? I think it is more of the latter. ::)

Here is another point sir… Aren’t you talking trash about the fine folks on this board by asking the question? By asking if we are talking trash aren’t you saying that you are above all of us because you do not participate is such spirited discussions?

Perhaps if you had the kind of passion for your work that many display here you might talk a little “trash” yourself.

Join in on the fun! Call me a jerk for raising these questions. ;)

I respectfully disagree with you… You have just shown a great degree of sincerity. ;)

I think about the word: SINCERITY and keep hearing an instant replay of that old political slogan:

in his mind you know he's right! ::)

Having said this, I think just about everybody's opinion concerning any broadcast issue will always be subject to scrutiny, disagreement or hostility.

And that's the reason many broadcasters and non-broadcasters contribute to...or at least READ these boards! :p

Radio is a professional endeavor that breeds and requires passion. With passion comes strong emotion. There are many in broadcasting that choose to treat broadcasters like garbage, and for this they deserve great ridicule.
