King of Prussia Radio reception Part 2

I stayed at the Double Tree Hotel on W. DeKalb Pike in King of Prussia over the weekend Saturday the 31st through Monday the 2nd.

The FM reception on my Walkman on the 7th floor of that hotel was absolutely horrible. Every Philadelphia station was staticy. Classix 107.9 was non-existent and Boom 103.9 barely came in at all. Quite different from my experience when I stayed at the Crowne Plaza on Mall BLVD back in June.

Interesting Reception Notes:

Y-102.5 from Reading and that stupid religious station on 107.5 from Boyertown were the only static-free stations.

Surprise pick-up. A translator on 103.5 relaying a religious station called WPAZ 1370-AM from Pottstown.

Un-Id'd station. A religious station on 94.5 airing SRN before the top of the hour. (Most stations I know that carry SRN News airs it at the top of the hour).

Two quick reception notes from 30th Street Station:

Picked up 102.5 The Gambler. The signal was staticy.
Un-Id'd station on 107.3 play very old music. Adult Standards music perhaps?

94.5 would be WDAC from Lancaster. 107.3 is a translator for 89.3 WDRV.

That's good, determined DX there, Marc. Thanks for sharing!

Thet WDAC 94.5 comes in pretty well here on the basic car radio through Kulpmont -- where they had an actual LPFM relay all set to air. On 94.5
! I never heard that LPFM. Kulpmont is about 12 air miles from here, as the cow flies.

Your Standards station on 107.3 * might've * been WBYC from MD.
