King Of Queens Final Episode

Big fan of this show, not since Seinfeld has a finale been so bad.

They are killed in a plane crash .... or so we are lead to believe.

I kid..I kid!!! Didn't see it. I believe it is a two parter, no?

Carrie and Doug go go China to get the baby, and end up making up along the way. When in China, Carrie finds out that she is actually pregnant, so they end up with the adopted baby, and their natural child. Flash forward to a year later, it shows a frazzled Carrie & Doug in their house taking care of the two babies, when Arthur (who got married to Spence's Mom - his real wife Anne Meera), walked in and said "It didn't work out."

I was disappointed with it, too. I think they tried to put too much into one hour. They probably could have made it 90 minutes. The video tribute, with all the old show clips at the end was great.

I found it to be too heavy and had a somewhat mean spirited overtone of domestic disharmony. I mean it was amusing to watch Doug and Carrie have little (typical) spats - but true anger and "we're getting a divorce" just ain't funny. Also not funny was the end clip of them being miserable with 2 little kids.

None of the last month was in keeping with the tenor of the series. And, the poster who compared it with the Seinfeld finale hit the nail on the head. It was that disappointing.
