KING-TV Down in Front

Apparenty KING's Up Front recap of the Health Care bill got people hacked off this past week .... one in particular is local radio's answer to Herb Tarlek, Sparky Taft. In one of the most unusual moves I've seen ... they invited Sparky ON THE SHOW to make his point (which was that KING was biased in presenting a political "issue"). Given the health care bill had already passed and KING was doing an explanation piece, I don't understand why they should have taken heat for lack of "fairness" --- not to mention the inaccurate quoting of outdated FCC rules about fairness. Anyway .... an interesting piece (which left me wondering how much an A/E at KING may have been begging the show producer to do this "one little favor".....?)

Interesting addition to a great show, which was also about I-1068 (the initiative that would legalize marijuana in WA state, which Yours Truly has been actively involved in lately), I don't exactly agree with Sparky on this one, but it's good to see he's still kickin'......
