Kingston Community Radio

I am not one for blowing my horn, but KCR just past its sixth anniversary as a listener supported broadcast organization. For the last six years KCR has purchased time from WGHQ, 920am, in Kingston for a daily radio program from 7am to 9am. This public affairs, guest, call-in program has succeeded with the help of volunteer hosts, public support and underwriting from community minded businesses. As far as I know KCR is the only program in the country doing this kind of daily community radio program. Through public support we are now webcasting the show live and archiving each daily program on our website: www.mykcr.org.

Our focus is on Ulster County and Northern Dutchess County…
