KIOA?

Regarding what has happened with KOOL 108 in the twin cities, what do you think are the possibilities of KIOA adding some 80's tracks in the next few years, such as; Genesis, Toto, Billy Joel, Juice Newton (70's?), The Cars, etc....

Most who are entering their fifties or are in their early fifties where in their twenties in the early thru mid 80's. This gives you some perspective on where their target audience is heading.

Do you think KIOA could tweak into a 60's thru 80's type of format in the next few years?

Just food for thought.
Edited by radiorobert on 07/01/05 07:31 PM.

as a 32 year old, god that make's me feel old. But i'm sure that'll eventually happen, just like the oldies format ditching 50's music and in it's place adding 70's. So someday, yes I could see 80's replacing 60's on KIOA.

They started playing select cuts from 1979 last summer, so I suppose it's possible...
