You're right, Chuck. An application to revive the 1270 frequency in Bay City was filed back in January '04 but never got any traction; the FCC finally dismissed it on January 22 of this year. That action could impact another application that seeks a big daytime power increase for KWHI 1280 in Hempstead (from 1,000 to 10,000 watts), but I really don't know if they're still interested in pursuing that one, either.
