Kirby Wilbur fills in mornings at KVI

Along the lines of another thread regarding talk show hosts of either wing...

Kirby Wilbur is a great example of what happens when you take a non radio person and put them on the air.

You have to be 100% sold on his message because he has no other obvious broadcast skills to entertain, captivate, or grow an audience with.

yep, good spot on analysis there. yet on the flip side, don of the ronandon KIRO fame, is a great example of what happens when you take an overkill "radio" person and put them on the air.

you dont have to be 100% sold on his message because he has an obvious "in your face" broadcast skill lifted from the tom brokaw school of talk, aimed to over entertain, over captivate, and over grow the audience with.
