KIRO Hires New Anchor

Presumably David replaces Cale Rameker and cover big sports stories as well as be the Sunday night co-anchor.

The Portland to Seattle train is certainly nothing new. David seems quite capable, probably a good move. However, "sports, with anchor" seems a bit odd. You mention sunday night co-anchor. Could be.

Well, since KIRO no longer has traditional sports anchors, Cale co-anchored on Sunday nights and reported on any major sports stories. So, perhaps David will be doing the same thing.
 
David will doing what Cale did. Co-anchoring the news Sunday nights and reporting sports and news stories during the week.
