Saga's running an ad on AllAccess.com for a PD at Classic Rock KISM. Is Larry Sharp out?

Thanks for the link, Manny. Glad to learn it was Larry's decision and not the other way around. He's a great PD and one of the few true nice guys in this business.

Attention Bong, here is your big shot! The ability to put that superior programming knowledge to work is calling just down the street. I can see the T-shirts now.. KISM, turning Superfund into Superfun!

Larry wouldn't go for the job. His arrogance would get in the way.

If your definition of "arrogance" means finding better financial success and a stable career in troubled economic times with a family to support, then I am as arrogant as they come.

No, what I meant by "arrogance" is that you want stations to come to you for your programming talents, not the other way around. That's what you've said before on this board when challenged by others to prove your ideas on how radio should be run will work.

And to get back on topic - we now know where Larry Sharp ended up: Back at the station he programmed in the '90s - K-Fox/SJ. Except this time it'll be simulcast on 102.1 in SF.

What's wrong with that? I haven't got the time for bulls--t. Especially when I'm doing pretty good right now. Why should I give it all up?

Simple as that....
