KISQ 98.1

I been hearing that station in Sacramento..Is there Antanna ponitin to the east of the Bay Area, But I can't get KISQ on my DX-380 in West Sacmento

I know KMEL is hard to get there
 
Is KISQ's Transmitter pointing to the east??..I goofed on my 1st question...I'm from Vallejo..The reason I ask was I go visit my nephews time to time in West Sac...

They're all more-or-less omnidirectional with a few exceptions.

KISQ's city-grade contour goes nearly to Davis so it ought to be receivable in WS no problem.
Same with the others on Mt Beacon (102.1, for one) .
 
In Sacramento, if you want to hear 981 KISS FM, just tune to V101.1. Same owners, same format, some of the same on-air personalities from KISS just VT'd. Same Imaging, same VO guy. Not a huge difference at all.
 
Yep both great stations KHYL does feature a few 90's and early 2000 hits. KISQ is mostly 70's and 80's but both well programmed stations. Not sure how far Sacramento is from Stockton but KQOD is another choice.
