Kiss 108 Taylor Swift contest rigged by internet pranksters

http://gawker.com/4chan-rigs-contest-so-creepy-man-can-smell-taylor-swift-800887912

File this one under "TROLLED!" :D So some users from the popular internet image blog site 4chan.org have tried to rig the Taylor Swift contest for Kiss 108... by having an obvious "out of demo" 39 year old "creepy" man be the #1 vote in their online vote contest. Winner gets to attend her concert at Gillette Stadium. The #1 voter wanted to "smell her hair". Obviously they aren't privy to the cynicism of the the internet...

This makes me pose the question, how often in the past were radio stations "trolled" or "pranked" for running contests like this?

Kiss decided that to "terminate" the contest, rather than either disqualify Charles or just let him win. Their Facebook page is being overrun with #justice4charles posts. Their statement:

Disappointingly we have determined that the integrity of the “Taylor Swift’s Biggest Fan” contest has been compromised . In accordance with our contest rules, effective immediately, the contest has been terminated. We apologize to all of our loyal listeners who have participated.

Wasn't there a radio contest to get XXX pop star to sing at your school, and the 4channers rigged it so it was a school for the deaf that won the prize?

Yes, is was T Swift as well. It was a contest hosted by Taylors/clients website though, not a station. Taylor ended up donating a bunch of money to the school. Horace Mann School for the deaf, I think.

Thought it was around here but wasn't sure. Thanks.
