Kiss 95.3 WSKX

I was listening to Kiss 95.3 this afternoon and heard Kiss 95-point-3 in between songs instead of Kiss 108. I went to the website kiss953.com and saw that Kiss 108 and Kiss 95.3 simulcast Matty in the Morning. Other on air people include Boy Toy Jessie, Joey Brooks, JoJo Wright and Sisanie that are on Kiss 108. People not on Kiss 108 are Billy the Kid and JJ. People on Kiss 108 not on Kiss 95.3 are Romeo!, Jackson Blue, Joe Public and Spanky.

Right now I'm listening on my computer to Kiss 95.3 and comparing what gets played on Kiss 108 with yes.com and they have different songs playing. Does this mean Kiss 108 and Kiss 95.3 aren't simulcasting anymore? I've been listening about an hour now and no mention of Kiss 108 once.

I'm listening to both stations on two different radio's and they appear to be no longer simulcasting. I think the simulcast was better though because I go up to Maine once a week and I liked being able to listen to Kiss 108 the whole way. Me personally i think its a waste that they broke away from the simulcast since its such a small signal.

Chrisradioanimal do you live in Portsmouth, NH to be able to listen to both 95.3 and 107.9? I agree that its a waste that 95.3 broke away from 107.9. Of course it does benefit people who live in Portsmouth, NH because now they have two CHR's that play similar music but at different times like if 95.3 is playing something they don't like then 107.9 could be playing something they do like and viceversa. I do that with 97.9 and 95.3 right now.

But it does make me wonder if this could put 95.3 in competition with 97.9 since 95.3 is Seacoast Maine and NH and 97.9 comes in in Seacoast Maine and NH. 95.3 also stretches into Portland.
