WKSS HD1 is back but the sound is much lower than their analog signal. The WKSS HD2 audio is fine. In other HD news, I haven't been able to lock on WWYZ's HD signal for at least a week here in New Britain.

The HD2 for WWYZ (classic country) has been MIA for about a month. I'm in Meriden, so it's not a signal-strength problem. I feel sorry for Buckley Broadcasting, trying its best to promote HD Radio and doing a good job with its HD2 (although an occasional new add to the playlist wouldn't hurt), only to see Clear Channel, one of the original big boosters of the technology, apparently lose interest and let its signals go to seed. And why oh why did CC replace the excellent "Forgotten Favorites" stream with the tight-playlist classic rock stream that now airs on 105.9 HD2, which plays nothing the Connecticut listener isn't already hearing on WPLR and WAQY?
