Kiss 96.9 in Lexington’s lame reimaging

I know they made the switch two years ago, but I don’t live in the area and just listen to them when traveling. Same exact music as before. Even the bumper sounds like that of a soft rock station. They simply inserted “classic hits” and took out “soft rock”. Like I said, a little late posting this but I would expect them to evolve after two years.

I enjoy it. The music is all over the place, which is what 101.5 Jack FM is and that is my favorite station in town. I guess that is their competition? It's not 94.5.

I did enjoy Rewind 105.5. That format was supposed to replace the "soft rock" on 96.9.

96.9 has had a few voice-over changes since they switched a couple of years ago.

Off-topic, but I wish 94.5 would just ditch their TOP-40 HD2 Country. We have plenty of country music here in Lexington. They could've put the old Rewind "iHeart's Classic Hits" on 94.5 HD-2.
