Kiss and the fox are just awful!!!

Not the music i like the new fox with there more alternative friendly format but it is all piped in nothing local the music and talent is no where here and kiss the same way!!!Kiss is terrible!!!Nothing local ever!!!I liked carlos when he was on the air.Overnights sure i think you can make a case for it. But not during the day!

On kiss there numbers have dropped!!! Wdjx i hope is killing them in the numbers. For cc has really messed up these stations!!!

Yes Wdjx has jackson blue and he is piped in but thats it no one else!!!

Lets hope premium choice goes away it is a god awful idea thought up by some suit whm has no persoanlity!!!

Looks like you might get your wish. Kiss hired Mike Klein to be PD a few months back. He's on afternoons and I see he's looking for an MD and night jock.

Seems silly when they had matt as there pd a year ago now they hired a new pd. The more things change the more they stay the same.I think they should hire mike shannon.Lets hope the fox follows kisses lead.

Oh no did the fox lose their morning show? Havent been in the market in a few years but last i listened dwight and tony were on AMD . . .

There show has been gone for quite some time. Dwight is in sales and tony is on qmf and am 790 wkrd.

The fox has not had a morning show in quite a few years.

I always thought The Fox's heyday was when they were competing with LRS. That was a fun battle.

bring back the Walrus!

Bring back the Walrus? AGAIN? Are you joking? It's been reincarnated so many times already, it must be Buddhist, lol. I think just about everyone on this board has worked there at one time or another, including myself. I'd prefer to just enjoy my fond memories of working there, instead of bringing on a station in name only that would be a pale comparison to the original. But that's just me.

haha! Budda is laughing.

Bring back The Walrus suit, too! Not the suits, though.

It wouldn't pale in comparison, either. No country bumpkins!

By the way, is The Fox as awful as HotPatrick thinks? Or is it just hot air?

Doesn't Kenneth Mudd do the local music show with Eddy Metal?

and does Eddy wear extentions?

Mudd does the local show on Sunday nights with Shannon "The Dude". The guy seems like a cool cat and he's interesting to listen to. Too bad the rest of The Fox isn't local.

Didn't somebody go through a bunch of RF calculations about how the CP negatively affects all of WZKF's competitors, especially DJX?

Not that I'm aware of, but I pointed out that the co-location of 98.9 and 100.5 at the same site will create intermodulation products at 97.3 and 102.1, which are very close to WAMZ and WXMA. And since both 98.9 and 100.5 are HD, that intermodulation will spill over into 97.5 and 102.3.

It'll be interesting to see if it causes a big problem in reality, or if it's only on paper.

Having 100.5 and 970 on the same tower spells trouble for DJX out there as it is (100.5-.970=99.53). DJX was constantly getting complaints from listeners out there, however both 100.5 and 970 were operating legally. Let's hope these problems just show up on paper.
