Kiss' annoying playlist

This is ridiculous. Kiss used to have a big playlist, filled with punk rock that I can't find in my own state of Kansas. Now, it's like everyone else. Just this morning, I heard "Love you Like A Love Song" by Selena Gomez at 6:34 and 7:34. Wow...that is low. Don't get me wrong, I like Kiss. But, because of it's shorter library, I'm tuning elsewhere. Jackie and Bender and their mix shows are the only reasons why I still listen. Can anyone explain why Kiss is doing this? Honestly, I think Kiss did a better job under CBS rather than CC.

KISS and KUBE are CC stations. Outside of mornings and afternoons the stations are virtually syndicated. In the case of KISS they have KISS LA syndicated shows on middays and nights. Eight hours local, 16 syndicated. It is the way of the Clear Channel and Cumulus world. Same thing with KJR-FM where mornings and afternoons are local. The middays are a CC tracked voice heard on dozens of stations including KKCW in Portland. Nights are syndicated too. CBS ran the stations with all local talent and music programming.

The economy changed and it is cheaper to syndicate programming and voicetrack shows for CC and Cumulus. Other national groups like Bonneville, Hubbard, CBS, Sandusky remain locally programmed. Fisher and KCMS are locally owned and programmed. Probably cheaper to do it the CC or Cumulus way, but is it better in the long run?
