KISS Finally Has a New Morning Show

I read a Rodney Ho article in the AJC announcing that Kiss 104.1 (WALR) has introduced a new morning show hosted by Toni Moore and Tony "Sco" Sculfield. Moore had been in the slot on an interim basis since January, and Sculfield has major market radio experience and is also a comedian.

Kiss went without a permanent morning show since Frank Ski's contract was not renewed back in January yet somehow increased their ratings.

I listened this morning and it sounded, well, like a morning show. Both hosts are talented. I like the show's name, "Toni & Tony in the Morning." But I wonder if Toni calling Tony "Sco" is a little confusing to listeners.

As far as I know, Kiss has been without a local PD since last December, but I could be wrong. In his story, Rodney quotes Nate Reed, Operations Director for Cox Media Group's music brands.
