I believe the original lineup was:
Continuous Hit Music! The New 106.1 KISS FM!
6a-10a: Kraddick
10a-2p: Leanne Adams (Now at KVIL)
2p-6p: JJ McKay (Not sure where he is now.)
6p-10p: Domino (I believe he's on-air in Orlando)
10p-2a: Michael B (aka: Michael Blake) (I think he has a succesful Mobile DJ biz in DFW)
I think that's correct.
JJ was the original PD/station voice and Sean Phillips was the APD. JJ left, Phillips was promoted to PD and hired Mr. Ed as his APD. At this point Sean Caldwell replaced JJ as the station voice. After Phillips was fired under strange circumstances John Cook was brought in as PD.
Michael B did afternoons for a short stint and Mr. Ed took over middays once Leanne made the move to LA. Domino got the night gig at KIIS in LA and at that point Valentine was brought in from Jamn 94-5/Boston to handle 6p-10p. Eventually Michael B was moved back to 10p-2a and Hollywood Henderson did afternoons.
After Cook left to take the PD spot at KIIS Mr. Ed was appointed PD and he brought in John Reynolds as his APD and he also took over middays. When Reynolds left for Kiss/Charlotte Dave Morales moved into the APD/Midday spot.
Gary Leigh handled imaging and when he moved on Catfish Cooper was brought in. I remember Rick Lovett and Maverick also helped out at different points with Production and Imaging.
The weekend/fill in crew included Amy Austin, Maverick and Blind Blake. I'm pretty sure Maverick handled 10p-2a for a bit but not sure when.
The original GM was Brenda Adriance and the original engineer was Lark Hadley. I believe Lark is now a big time executive at Premiere Radio Networks.
When Clear Channel took over the station in 2000 everything changed. They slipped tremendously for several years before returning to the top spot.
KISS/Dallas from sign on in 1993 until 2000 was my favorite station of all time!
