Kiss-FM on the Move

Word out of Kiss-fm is they are expecting Movin' to go more after THEIR audience. Kiss is ready for another CBS half ass attempt at CHR. Make NO mistake about it!

I thought that something was different about Kiss. The other day I was going through the stations and Heard that Song by Paper Boy called Do The Ditty. I actually had to listen for the song to end just to make sure that it was really Kiss. I wonder what else will show up on Kiss in the future? Kind of sounds like Hot100 to me.

I think it is sooooo funny how these little no name radio stations try to take over well established ones. I've heard this new station and it appears to me that not only are they targeting Kiss Fm listeners, they are also trying to get the Mix 102.9 listeners as well. 106.7 tried to do this ...failed...now their latin, I think Hot 100 was the only station who kinda gave KISS a scare.

Hot 100 several summers ago when they were 100% dance sounded great. Even got into the mid 3's. They were a focused latino dance format with a few Kylie Minogues in there. Not all over the place like most of these movin formats. Plus Hot 100 had some really good jocks on too. Boy how CBS has changed in the last year or so!

Yeah, why go after the well-established ones when you can go after the little podunk stations that aren't making money... ::)

I sense the sarcasm in your connotation "Little one", HA! I cant stop laughing uncontrollably inside. Leave the radio talk to the big boys ok.

Are you one of the big boys?
Am I?
Neither of us really know, do we?

But I do know that it makes a lot more sense to go after the stations that are making money hand over fist, than to go after some struggling also-ran...

The Wolf is one of the biggest billers in town. Which is why you have them, KSCS, Twister, the Ranch, that Classic Country station in FW, etc all playing 'country' of some sort...

Point taken, but I know what I know and further more don't have to prove myself to anybody on radio-info.com So please lets not try to match wits here, I'm sure everyone is knowledgeable at some point about radio otherwise why we would be here discussing radio topics. I stated my opinion, thats all, I think its funny. However it is possible to compete, I've seen it done by stations like Hot 100.
