Kiss FM or Mix 100?

If you are asking what station is better,

then my vote goes to Kiss for now. I like the station bumpers they play in between songs better. I think Party Playhouse sounds pretty solid in the evenings. I enjoy the long mix they do on Sunday afternoons. One thing Kiss needs to work on though is the morning show. I know it comes from KHFI in Austin, but the audio seems to be quite terrible during the morning show...has been ever since KZII became an affiliate of the Bobby Bones show. Mix 100's audio during Kidd Kraddick sounds much better!

With that said, I think Mix needs more time to pull things together. It hasn't been that long since they relaunched. However, with the "Re launch," I wonder if any viewers have really noticed much of a "format change"? Especially since it seemed Mix was heading towards CHR before they "relaunched." Would have been a little more interesting if they refreshed the purple logo and launched a new website, just to help make the change a little more noticeable. Of course, listeners will care more about the content played then what's on a website, I still don't think a logo change and new website would have hurt. Several songs they play now were also played before they refreshed their format a little bit...which is why I wonder if viewers really notice much of a change, aside from the new station bumpers they play.

Lets remember. When Kiss started out after dropping the "Z" branding, it sounded like the same old Z102 for awhile with Kiss FM stingers. But in time, they got better...at least, to me they did.

I'm willing to give Mix some more time to fix things up...and maybe they will improve enough for me to change my vote to "Mix!" 'Til then, I think Kiss sounds more solid in my opinion.
