I think that was a wise decision if they replace him with someone good. SO MANY UNREAL decisions have been made by him over the last 2 years. And I'm not just talking about Eagle.
He was an overwhelmingly nice dude, and was a hard worker as well. He just maybe aged out of 'getting' the brands or something.
