5.0 TO 4.3, is all that seperates Fly from Kiss. That's a HUGE difference from a year ago.

Could it be by the time the next ratings period comes that KISS could surpass Fly in the ratings for the FIRST time ever!?

Your thoughts?

WHo knows? It's anybody's call. The only difference between the two is that FLY plays way more rock. And that is why FLY is ahead. If KISS changes it's playlist and mixes it up a littel more. IT can happen!

Wrong-0!!! Playing more rock is exactly why FLY will drop like a rock and KISS will gain. The Albany market is already FLOODED, infact, OVERSTURATED with friggin' rock!!!! The more they play the less they differentiate themselves from everyone else. They need to go back to playing upbeat, fun, POP music that appeals to the base that they've alwats had and the fringe demos!! Callahan and co. are following the same m.o. that he had in Colorado.
Cause disarray, low morale and screw with a successful format to eventually kill off the station(s) 'til he leaves or is asked to leave......

It's quite obvious that by playing both modern rock and hip hop you attract a much broader audience. And that is why KISS will not beat FLY. That is why!<P ID="signature">______________

There is one way Fly can blow Kiss away and I know that the staff at Clear Channel is watching this.

But to tell the truth, Fly needs to be dance leaning top 40. It is huge in certain spots though.

Some of the stations nowadays beatmix commercial dance with cutting edge tracks never put on radio.

Now tell me if I am wrong.

Fly 92 used to be the *it* station. Times have changed. Within the next year, if the formats continue the way they are, KISS will surpass Fly in the ratings.
Fly should go Hot AC. Kiss will be just fine.
