Kiss Me Goodbye --- who did the mellow AC version?

OK, I've been trying to figure out who recorded Petula Clark's "Kiss Me Goodby" as a more mellow, orchestral version, with a
chorus. It got a lot more airplay than Petula's version....Bert Kampfert?

Ray Conniff did a version of the song. It's on his "Honey" LP/CD

Thanks for the help....It probably is the Ray Conniff version I have in my head....

The only other version I know of is in Japanese by Angela Aki.

The Aki recording is same title - different song..........the Ray Conniff version sounds like the ticket, also Connie Francis and Gary Puckett had non-charted versions.

Hmmm now that I hear the Ray Conniff version, I'm not so sure that's the one I had in my head..

Well, if the song got as much airplay as you said it did, it's got to be out there somewhere.

I found songs titled "Kiss Me Goodbye" by the following artists other than Clark, Aki, Puckett, and Francis as mentioned before: Jim Nabors and The Marie Sisters. Nabors would be AC, the Marie Sisters were a country act.
