KISS OVERNITE V/T "SISANIE"

Why is CC bothering with having these "Sisanie" voicetracks on overnights? Not only does it make for the same exact music log on every Kiss station...the tracks are annoying & she never even ONCE has spit out the words "Kiss FM" when intro-ing or outro-ing. Here's an example of one of her talk breaks: "All American Rejects, gonna be on the cover of Rolling Stone next month............................".....and that's it.
I know she's great looking & that's what really matters today ::) & does afternoons on KIIS Los Angeles & all, but it'd be better like it was- with nothing but recorded liners & promos all night. I've heard mushmouths fresh out of school more entertaining!
Wonder how much extra $ she's getting for these "breaks" while Cleveland CC jocks collect severence. ???

I think that's the point. One station to rule them all.

Maria (WMMS) makes 50 per shift, unless that price went down when they re-hired her.

She's a "Premium Choice" cat litter program offering. The brain child (ha!) of John Hogan. With that, no mention of call letters, city or anything else in the world. Sisanie's from KIIS-FM in LA, so it's literally the same voice tracks here as in San Diego.

WMMS has been doing the same thing on some overnights....some guy named Diesel will pop on and intro/outro some music while giving absolutely no station ID. Awesome.

Is Maria really piped in from out of town? I seem to remember her being at station events and broadcasting live at times in the past. Haven't noticed that in a while, then again I almost never listen during her "shift."

Sounds like the whole cluster is virtually unmanned overnights. Usually on WTAM there's a good 2:00 of dead air before the TOH news in the 2,3 & 4am hours. They should get some more promos/crossover promos as fill so The Beast(NexGen) can generate them as fill. But sometimes it's a sadistic pleasure hearing dead air on The Big One. :D

Other times, usually at the bottom of the hour, WTAM will fire off five or six stingers in a row, back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back. It is humorous hearing "The Big One: WTAM 1100" said endlessly by Bill Wills, Triv, et al. But you'd think that WTAM would squeeze in a commercial spot or two... or at least a weather forecast. It just sounds primitive to me.

I've heard that too. It's almost as if they purposely put them there (always in the same order) to take up :10 of time. It it that time/money consuming to have someone throw together some shortys for something other than Wills & Triv? They used to promo everything under the sun & have carts of psas & promos of all different lengths to make it at least tight.
Back to Kiss...at least with Seacrest it's not the same exact music programming as every other Kiss in the country. If you live in Norwalk Ohio or somewhere between Cleveland & Toledo you get Sisanie's v/t's on WAKS and WVKS. It used to be the Sun. night "Open House party" sat. feed was the only time you had to hear that. If I were the remaining (2?) live jocks I'd be like "why bother" trying to sound live & local for one, maybe 2 shifts a day when the other 70% of the day is Elvis Duran, Seacrest, Sisanie & Silly Jilly's v/ts out of Chicago on weekends.
