Kiss Top 40 of 2007

I was just wondering when Kiss stopped doing the top 108 of the year? Doing only 40 songs kinda shows the demise of "current" music. Any comments?

And speaking of Kiss traditions, when did they finally stop playing Wishing On A Star Saturday's at Noon as well?

The last year they did a top 108 was 1996...11 years ago. 1997 was top 97 and 1998 was top 98. Top 40 each year since then.

Kiss should be called Jamn 108 . Most of Kiss songs are on ,or should be on Jamn 94.5 . Fire Lemon Jack , NOW !

No problem, but I mispoke. The last top 108 was actually in 1995. They went to a top 96 in 1996 and followed that format through 1998 as I previously said. Then they went to the top 40 format in 1999. They also did a top 90 of the 90's countdown in 1999.

Kiss and Jamn ( Re-Play Cheap Channel ) played the same songs over and over again , so Kiss and Jamn, may had only played 40 songs all year ( 2007 ) .

btw Clr Chnl may flip the 95.3 from York Ctr ME (serves Seacoast of NH) to a Kiss-108 like format
(pages going up for "Kiss 95.3"--a simulcast, or similar station? See Northern NewEng board. For now
they're still WUBB as country; I checked streaming and a Kenny Chesney tune was on.)

Curiously, that kiss953.com page now hints "Coming soon: sports" and links to an MSN/FoxSports
page. Fox Sports is syndie by Premiere, Clr Chnl's syndie arm. Hmm.
