KISS vs B96

With the new book out today, only a half share (actually slightly less that that) separate 103.5 KISSFM and B96, with KISS having an up book and B96 dropping slightly.

Question: Was this a fluke, or is Chicago finally starting to come around to WKSC? I'm pulling for KISS, obviously, but isn't this the closest the two stations have ever been?

(Yes, I realize that we're going on 12+ here, which don't mean all THAT much, but...)<P ID="signature">______________

Kiss will catch B96 when LaKalle takes a hold. Don't be fooled. It's not going to happen because Kiss is a wonderful station, it'll happen because B96's Hispanics have a new choice, at least those who can pick up LaKalle.

Let's wait until Fall book before we say anything. Usually Top 40 stations go up in the summer. You will see if you look at last year. Same thing happened.

But it is a good notice.
