Sad...another legendary Top-40 AM'er from the 60s/70s goes
non-commercial, like KFRC (now KEAR) 610 and KYA (KOIT,
now KSFB) 1260 in San Francisco have... :'(

The BIG 13 KYNO lead the way then and now.... having gone non-com several years ago. That's the obvious and most ironic one. Then there's also, the old KEAP, KJOP, KHOT, and KNGS that morphed into non-coms. Not sure about that last one, it may still be commercial.
