I'm trying to get an email address for KIT in Yakima, particularly the archivist (if they have one). I know I could call the station, but this is a VERY sentimental subject for me and I doubt I'd be able to ask this on the phone without breaking down in tears.
My story: Back in January 1956, my father, mother and my oldest brother were interviewed on KIT. It was a `Man on the street" type interview. We even had a record of that interview. That record has been lost, sadly. This would be the only recording I'd have of my mother's and father's voices.
I'm hoping against hope that the original recording still exists so that I can get another copy.
