Yes, KNAL shifts from 1410 (its home since 1948) to Port Lavaca's 93.3. KITE in turn moves the oldies down to 1410 and the recently relocated 97.5. Not sure what will be chosen for 93.3 as a new format.
Already licensed on 97.5 but its a translator..not a full power signal....however, these are the same guys who file under many names and are behind the 97.1/107.7 debacle in Beaumont!!!
Bet its not built or on the air.....probably will wait to see who will buy the "license"
A few changes I see. 93.3 is now country "the wolf" I guess they are going to go against kix 108? and KITE is now on 1410 and 97.5fm. 93.3 is KNAL and 1410 is KITE.
Seems like an interesting change. Hopefully The Wolf plays local Country as well. That might set it apart. I will try tuning in next time I'm able to.
As for 97-1 in Beaumont (E-STRING WIRELESS), I don't think they are related to KITE and KNAL (VICTORIA RADIOWORKS).
I believe E-String is just the engineer Victoria Radioworks uses. I could be wrong.
