Kix Brooks to depart American Country Countdown

I wonder if his touring schedule will be getting more extensive now that he and Ronnie Dunn have released a new album of "reboots" and have just been named Duo of the Year by the CMA. Brooks and Dunn announced their retirement as a duo many years ago, yet in reality, it's never lasted very long.

When Bob Kingsley left what was then ABC Radio in 2005 to start Country Top 40 I never would have guessed Kix would have lasted 19 years.

I hope it's on his own terms and this isn't a Cumulus RIF in disguise.

The write up says that the new guy is the fourth host for the radio show. Who else besides him, Kix, and Bob Kinglsey have done the show?

God bless you and Kix and the new guy always!!!

Holly

P.S. It's been five years now since Bob Kingsley's departure due to Cancer. Time flies.
