Kix is loosing nascar?

First the titans, then the Grizzlies and now they are letting go of nascar? I guess they are not liking the sports anymore at almost extinct citadel.....

I don't know what issues that station might have but I tried listening to a NASCAR race over the Motor Racing Network several weeks ago. Suffice to say that not listening at all would have been better. The announcers talk all over each other and the the track noise is too high and obscures the announcers.

Kix is as successful now as they have been in many years. They must be doing something right.

Whatever are you talking about "ALMOST EXTINCT CITADEL" If you're referring to the CUMULUS take over there not likely to make many noticable changes to a market that is as succesful as Memphis. They have more live jocks on their 4 stations than any other group in town and dominate the ratings and revenue. Person 6+, Adults 25-54, Men 25-54 WXMX, WGKX and WRBO are some of the highest rated stations in AM drive. And in Women 25-54 WGKX and WRBO are highly rated in AM drive.

And let's be honest who cares about NASCAR? They have been losing ratings on radio and especially TV for the last three years. And as far as the Grizzlies go you can't make any money except in the pre-game and post-game shows. WGKX, WXMX and WRBO are music stations...PLAY MUSIC!
