KIXI's MOYL One Year Anniversary

Unbelievable. KIXI was my mother's favorite station mainly for the on air personalities but she loved their music as well. MOYL is awful. KIXI is dead.

KIXI was a jock's station - tight, well blended, good personality and the best jingles in the market. All good qualities that the audience either didn't appreciate or found no alternative to, because the station's 12+ numbers seem to be locked solid.

The real question is do the things we all liked about the Mighty 880 translate into additional revenue and profit? The overhead of personalities and the work involved simply may not have been worth it.

Radio is in a period of 'milking the cash cow' - and that's exactly what Sandusky is doing and should be doing. That being said, I sure miss the old sound.
